I got a new lens today. This photo is more just a picture of the lens than a good representation of what the lens can do. I already had a 50mm lens, but have been lusting over the 1.4 and well, caved. I also got a new camera bag so that I can carry my goodies around in style.

(Don’t go to the website, by the way. It’s boring and I haven’t been motivated to work on it!)
Awesome camera, Crissy. I purchased my 300 this month as well. I also bought the 18-200mm f/3.5 and the 50mm 1.4 that you have.
I hope you’re having a great time taking pics. I haven’t had much time due to work, however I’m going to try to get off my arse this weekend!
Have fun! : ) Alex

Yay!!! New lens, those are always fun. Oddly enough, i broke down and bought myself the exact same lens as an early christmas present for myself, but i think it was more a case of retail therapy. It’s wonderful, you’ll love it. Can’t wait to see what you and your wonderful eye can do with it.
Hope you enjoyed your holidays.

I miss your pictures like the one pictured here. It reminds me when I first stumbled onto one of your sites long ago, when we were both still in college. Back then you took a lot more photos of yourself and experimenting and they were always so striking and unique. As time has passed your photography has only improved and looking at your catapult site, you definitely have not lost your eye for catching people uniquely and just right.
