Zach and I had a really nice Easter weekend. It was sort of cold outside, but at least the sky was blue, and the sun was shining for the most part, which is a big change from the weeks of rain that we have been suffering through as of late. We managed, as per usual, to stuff ourselves at two family dinners on Sunday, once at his grandparents home, and then at my mom and dad’s place. I think I am still recovering from the food, but it was all really good.
Saturday evening we took Sasha over to my mom and dad’s house to play, since she’s been acting really shy around people lately. She even growled at the vet last week. I think she’s just starting to grow up a little bit and gain a sort of consciousness about strangers that she didn’t have when she was a tiny pup. I think that the time socializing with mom and dad’s dogs (3 miniature schnauzers) was good for her too.
Of course, Sasha and their cat, Kitty-Moo (yes, that’s her name), didn’t get along very well. Kitty-Moo’s tail was all puffed up and she was throwing talons all over the place. I’m sure Sasha caught a scratch or two to the tail in passing, at least.
