I’ve been talking to Zach about getting involved in the local GeoCaching scene for about two years now. It seems like every time we think about checking it out, the weather is always bad! With summer on the horizon, however, I’m hoping to get a GPS unit so that we can go exploring and try it out at some local parks. I know that there are several locals involved, and there might even be some kind of geeky club we could join. It would be something different to do at least.

I’ve gone once and I had a lot of fun. I keep meaning to go again, especially now that I have my own GPS, but I never seem to find the time.
Actually, yesterday, when I was wandering around the coastline of Oregon (out here with work), I wished I’d uploaded some of the local caches. Some of the areas I hiked were probably prime spots. I’m sure there were plenty around, if I’d only known where they were.
Oh well, next time I’ll try to plan ahead.
