Last night, in what felt like the most satisfying part of what was shaping up to be a great night’s sleep, Zach started blubbering something about a car. “Which car do you like…” he says. Now, immediately I know he’s having a dream about vehicles, because we’ve been looking through the papers for a truck to buy for him, so I just ignore it and try to continue sleeping, but, he keeps mumbling and probing me for an answer. Now, I tend to get a little cranky in the middle of the night while I’m TRYING TO SLEEP, so I sort of snapped and said: “What car?!” He said: “The car.” I sort of nudged him and told him that there is no car and that he needs to go back to sleep, and after a minute he came to and said: “Oh.. I’m sorry.”
Just when I finally slip back into dreamland, Sasha (who sleeps in a crate sitting on my side of the bed) started absolutely yelping, like she was dreaming about being chased by something scary. At first I thought she was hurt, but after a few shrieking yelps, she started snoring again.
They are both driving me crazy!
