I swear, this winter was the longest that I can remember. It seems like it was winter for about three years. It has been consistently warm here for a few weeks now, and the sun shine feels so good. I don’t even know how people survive in colder climates than this one. I know that I start getting a wicked case of seasonal affective disorder after a couple of months without sunshine, so I’m pretty thankful for summer time when it rolls around.

You know it’s interesting. I actually get seasonal affective disorder in the summer. Sun makes me extremely grumpy, to the point of irrationalism. I read an article once that stated there is a small percentage of people who are intolerant to the vitamin absorbed from the sun, the same vitamin that makes ordinary people sad when they don’t get enough of it.
So I moved to Ireland, where it’s wintery weather almost everyday!
