About me

To point out the obvious, I’m Crissy, and this is my Web site. I am a 28-year-old artist, photographer, and web entrepreneur from Chillicothe, Ohio. I have been creating and maintaining Web sites since before the word blog became so annoyingly overused. DearCrissy.com is where I keep my personal journal entries and photography.

I live in the country, just minutes away from the small Ohio city of Chillicothe, where I was born and grew up. I spent several years away from home during my early 20’s while in college, and lived and worked in Columbus for a year in-between. Growing up, I really never thought that I would want to continue the small town lifestyle, but as I inch dangerously close to age thirty, I realize that this is really home for me. I even went so far recently as to buy the home that I grew up in, which has been a really warm and wonderful experience.

I have a wonderful boyfriend, and we have two “kids,” a fat orange cat named Mewson, and a rambunctious black lab mix puppy named Sasha. Our home life is a bit like a cartoon right now, with fur flying and me constantly screaming “NO!” as the puppy destroys everything in her path.
